Catch Hospitality Group Experiencing Rapid Expansion with New Locations in New York City and Arizona

Chris Lehoux, September 19, 2025

Catch Hospitality Group (CHG) has recently expanded its presence with the opening of The Eighty Six, an intimate steakhouse situated in the historic West Village of New York City. Located at the former site of the beloved Chumley’s speakeasy, The Eighty Six aims to capture some of the vintage charm associated with its predecessor. With design work from the renowned Rockwell Group, the interior features Art Deco elements, plush velvet banquettes, and geometric marble floors, reminiscent of the glamourous Jazz Age.

The menu, curated by CHG’s culinary director Michael Vignola, showcases a range of steakhouse classics alongside a selection of seafood. Diners can choose from cuts like a juicy 32-ounce porterhouse for two and delight in dishes such as creamed spinach with truffle and aged Fiore Sardo cheese. The carefully crafted wine list, developed by sommelier Emily Buse, includes 260 selections with a strong emphasis on French, Italian, and Californian wines. Signature highlights feature a vertical from Château Pichon Longueville Lalande and high-end Burgundy offerings.

Furthermore, CHG is set to open a new flagship restaurant, Catch, in Scottsdale, Arizona, on September 19, which will offer a similar vibrant dining experience. This extensive 11,700-square-foot location will accommodate 290 guests and include two bars along with a private event space. The interior design will again be handled by the Rockwell Group and will reflect the desert’s warm tones.

Catch Scottsdale will continue to serve inventive dishes synonymous with the brand, including sushi made from fish flown directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market. A significant feature will be the expansive 600-bottle wine program, curated by head sommelier Troy Tranzow, showcasing a blend of prominent selections from global regions.

As Catch Hospitality Group continues to grow, its new locations are set to enrich the dining scene in both New York City and Scottsdale.
