Wine Theft Incident
On October 20, an employee at Minotti’s Wine and Spirits on Detroit Road notified the Rocky River Police about a theft occurring earlier in the month. A man had previously stolen a bottle of Don Julio Blanco worth $54. On his recent visit, he again attempted to steal two bottles of wine but was confronted by the store employee. The employee managed to retrieve a bottle of Don Julio Blanco along with a bottle of Don Julio Anejo valued at a total of $67. Following this incident, the suspect fled the scene, and police have been advised to take action should he return.

Employee Theft at Home Depot
A theft was reported by a manager at Home Depot on Center Ridge Road on October 23. A 24-year-old male employee from Lakewood confessed to stealing a drill set worth $159, claiming the theft was to aid in car repairs. Consequently, he was arrested for theft and subsequently terminated from employment.

Traffic Stop Leads to Warrant Arrest
A traffic stop at 2:15 a.m. on October 25 on I-90 eastbound, near Detroit Road, resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old Cleveland man. His vehicle had expired license plates since March 2025. Upon inquiry, the driver admitted to operating the vehicle without a valid license. Additionally, police found an outstanding warrant for his arrest related to a traffic offense in Strongsville.
