Sale Pepe Expands Sunday Service and Seasonal Menu; Via! by Sale Pepe Launches Beer and Wine To-Go Options

The husband-and-wife team behind the Italian restaurants Sale Pepe Pizzeria e Cucina and Via! by Sale Pepe have announced exciting updates for their eateries in Lahaina and Kāʻanapali.

Sale Pepe Pizzeria e Cucina is now open on Sundays, offering dinner service every day from 5 to 8:30 PM. Co-owner Qiana Di Bari expressed that the demand for Sunday service from their guests has been strong since reopening, making this expansion feel timely. “Our team is strong, and this is an opportunity to continue growing while giving our regulars and new guests another evening to enjoy our authentic cuisine and welcoming ambiance,” she stated.

Each month, Sale Pepe introduces a new menu inspired by Italian regional dishes and the changing seasons of Maui. November’s offerings include Pappardelle con Ragù di Tacchino (braised turkey ragu), Gnocchi di Patate Dolci (sweet potato gnocchi with brown butter and sage), and Butternut Squash Pancetta Pizza featuring Maui onions, balsamic reduction, arugula, and pecorino. Guests can also pair their meals with spritzes, martinis, negronis, as well as a diverse assortment of Italian wines and spirit-free aperitifs.

At Via! by Sale Pepe, located in Whalers Village, the restaurant has introduced to-go bottled and canned beer and wine, making it the only food court vendor offering such options. This fast-casual concept continues to serve pizza by the slice, build-your-own pasta bowls, and salads. Di Bari emphasized the simplicity of enjoying good food, saying, “Pizza in one hand, a cold beer in the other—it’s that simple. Via! is all about making good food easy to enjoy, whether you’re grabbing lunch between beach days or heading out for sunset.”
