Sip into Adventure at the Festival of Undiscovered Grapes: January 31 in San Jose, CA!

The Festival of Undiscovered Grapes is set to take place on January 31 in San Jose, CA, presenting an exciting opportunity for wine enthusiasts to explore a variety of lesser-known grape varieties. This annual event, formerly known as the Festival of Forgotten Grapes, emphasizes California’s impressive diversity in wine. While 93% of California’s vineyard area is dominated by just eight grape varieties, many unique options exist that are often overlooked.

Attendees can look forward to tastings from numerous wineries, including Absolution Cellars, ACORN, Anaya Vineyards, J. Lohr Vineyards, and many more, showcasing their innovative bottlings.

The event will be held at the Rotary Summit Center from noon to 5 PM, featuring food vendors and options for VIP attendees. VIP ticket holders will enjoy early access along with a pre-tasting seminar focused on Lodi wines. Both VIP and general ticket holders will have access to purchase wines directly at the event, with delivery options available.

Tickets for the festival are priced at $79.04 for general admission and $132.54 for VIP access. Reservations must be made in advance, allowing you to enjoy an afternoon full of delightful flavors and new discoveries.
