Laughter Takes Center Stage at Wine Country Comedy Fest: Featuring Pauline Yasuda and Courtney Cronin

Throughout Wine Country, enthusiasts often seek the perfect wine-and-food pairings, but the upcoming Wine Country Comedy Fest offers something a bit different. Scheduled for July 23-25, the festival will take place at three Sonoma County wineries—Buena Vista Winery, Balletto Vineyards, and DeLoach Vineyards—where attendees can enjoy a blend of comedy and fine wine.

In its eighth year, the festival features a lineup of eight comedians. Courtney Cronin opens the event at Buena Vista Winery, while the festival concludes with headliner Pauline Yasuda at DeLoach Vineyards. Both comedians hail from Los Angeles and prioritize relatable humor drawn from everyday experiences over divisive political commentary.

Cronin emphasizes the importance of connecting with the audience. Her career spans over two decades, having worked as a stand-up comic and television writer, with appearances on shows like HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and Lifetime’s “Outrageous Love with NeNe Leakes.” Her stand-up material often includes personal anecdotes, resonating with audiences and fostering a sense of shared experience.

Yasuda, known for infusing humor into discussions around family and identity, has made a name for herself as the first Asian woman to reach the finals of the San Francisco Comedy Competition.
