TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Traverse City’s special Uncorked promotion celebrating all things wine and vineyards is still going strong through the entire month of May.

And while locals and visitors alike have been driving to the wineries and tasting rooms on Old Mission and the Leelanau peninsulas to take advantage of all the deals this month, tourism officials want to remind everyone that tour buses and shuttles are also available for those who want to enjoy the special savings without getting behind the wheel.

The book-ahead tour option is a nice perk for those who don’t have a designated driver in their group or just want to leave the driving to someone else. For the extra adventurous, you can even book a bike tour and access some of the participating spots that are near the Traverse Wine Coast’s beautiful bike trails and country roads.

Participating Tour Operators include:

Brew Bus: “The Brew Bus specializes in Traverse City beer and wine tours. We offer private and join-in tours seven days a week year-round.”

The Magic Shuttle Bus: “The Magic Shuttle Bus is a Traverse City based chauffeur/party bus service specializing in wine tours, weddings, brewery tours, bachelor(ette) parties, business outings, birthdays, and more. … With buses that range from 12 to 40 passengers, we can accommodate most any size group for most any occasion. All our vehicles are equipped with custom seating, full audio systems, LED lighting, custom floors, as well as a resourceful driver.”

Wonderland Tours and Transportation: “Offering Northern Michigan’s finest wine tasting and scenic destination experience.”

Grand Traverse Bike Tours: “Join a guided group or follow along our self-guided tours.”

JJ’s Just One More Northern Michigan Tour: “JJs provides transportation and tours throughout Michigan.”
