Imagine a place where more than 250 of the finest winemakers and culinary giants gather for an entire weekend. This year, the Wine Spectator’s New York Wine Experience is set to occur in Times Square from Oct. 17-19, with tickets available for weekend packages providing wine enthusiasts three days of exclusive access to exceptional wines and their creators.

The 43rd edition of the Wine Experience will assemble winemakers globally at the New York Marriott Marquis. The event will commence with an extensive walk-around tasting, followed by Wine Spectator senior editors conducting detailed seminars with winemakers. Attendees will savor signature wines while learning about their origins.

Bordeaux lovers will enjoy insights from Jean-Guillaume Prats, a veteran who has experience with Cos d’Estournel, Lafite Rothschild, and LVMH, as he presents a selection from Château Léoville Las Cases. Additionally, Philippe Guigal from the Rhône Valley will showcase the prestigious wines from the “La La” vineyards, and senior editor Bruce Sanderson will guide a detailed session on the 2020 vintage from Barolo, featuring four prominent Barolo vintners.

Italian wine icon Angelo Gaja recently engaged in a thorough interview with Wine Spectator‘s editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken, discussing his impressive career and life experiences. They are set to reunite for a second segment of their discussion on stage.

Enthusiasts of New World wines will have the opportunity to delve into Napa’s mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon alongside senior editor James Molesworth and Lokoya winemaker Chris Carpenter. Additionally, well-traveled winemaker Paul Hobbs will showcase a vertical tasting of three vintages of Viña Cobos’ flagship Malbec, commemorating the 25th anniversary of this renowned Argentine brand.

Moreover, numerous celebrated figures in the wine world will reveal a cherished wine from their collection, sharing with the audience the significance of these wines. This year’s lineup features notable individuals such as Erwan Faiveley from Burgundy, actor and Washington winemaker Kyle MacLachlan of Pursued by Bear, Prince Robert de Luxembourg from Château Haut Brion, Greg Brewer of Brewer-Clifton in California, and legendary sports broadcaster Jim Nantz of The Calling.

The harmony of wine and food will be celebrated once more at this year’s Chefs’ Challenge, featuring celebrated chefs like Eric Ripert, José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse, and restaurateur Danny Meyer. They will compete to create the best dish and wine pairings. Additionally, the team behind Wine Spectator‘s Top 10 Wines of 2023 will showcase their exceptional wines to the audience.
