Star Wine List Awards the Best Wine Lists in France for 2025

In a prestigious ceremony during Wine Paris 2025, the international wine guide Star Wine List announced the winners of its Gold Stars, recognizing the best wine lists in France for the second consecutive year. This competition celebrates exceptional wine lists and the teams that curate them, with prizes awarded across ten categories. Winners in the international categories qualify for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final scheduled for June 2025.

Judge Kathrine Larsen-Robert, a Master Sommelier, expressed her excitement over the judging experience, stating, "What an incredible treat it was to judge Star Wine List of the Year France… The passion, expertise, and desire to excel is clearly felt." She was joined on the jury by esteemed sommeliers and wine experts, including Pascaline Lepeltier, Nina Jensen, and Jérôme Gagnez, with the awards announced at the ceremony.

  • Best Long Wine List (Over 600 references):

  • Best Medium-Sized List (200-600 listings):

  • Best Short List (Under 200 listings):
    Gold Star: Les Résistants – La Table, Paris

  • Best By the Glass List:
    Gold Star: La Table de Yoann Conte, Veyrier du Lac

  • Best Sparkling Wine List:
    Gold Star: Le Royal at the Royal Champagne Hotel and Spa, Champillon

  • Best Newcomer List:
    Gold Star: Dame Restaurant, Paris

  • Sustainable Wine List:

  • Best Austrian Wine List:
