ProWein 2025 will highlight the theme of food and wine pairing, a central topic in the culinary world. Scheduled from March 16 to 18, 2025, at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds, the event promises a rich program dedicated to this subject.

The urban gastronomy lounge, organized by #asktoni, will serve as a key gathering spot for both novice and experienced restaurateurs. Attendees can participate in daily workshops led by host Toni Askitis, who was named the best sommelier of 2024 by Rolling Pin. These interactive workshops aim to convey how to creatively combine food and wine for exceptional dining experiences.

This year’s urban gastronomy lounge will debut a new concept in collaboration with METRO, an international food wholesaler. This partnership has attracted esteemed chefs, including Björn Freitag, Alina Meissner-Bebrout, and Bobby Bräuer, who will showcase live culinary demonstrations throughout the event. Each workshop will feature distinct themes, such as “How to ProWein,” focusing on tips for maximizing the fair experience, and “Food & Wine Pairing,” where chefs prepare dishes and guests taste complementary wines.
