East Price Hill’s Somm Wine Bar Shuts Its Doors After Nearly a Decade in Business

Chris Lehoux, March 24, 2025

A Tri-State wine bar has officially closed its doors after nearly a decade of service. Somm Wine Bar + Kitchen, situated on Price Avenue in East Price Hill, announced its permanent closure via social media on Friday. The establishment held its last service on Saturday night.

In a heartfelt message on Facebook, Somm expressed gratitude toward its patrons, stating, "We are deeply grateful for the support and camaraderie you’ve shown us over these ten wonderful years. Your presence has made Somm a cherished gathering place. Thank you for the treasured celebrations and the memories we’ve shared together."

Opened in 2016 by Cafeo Hospitality Group, Somm offered a diverse selection of over 100 wines, alongside an extensive menu featuring beers, cocktails, and food options, including grilled branzino, housemade ravioli, and porcini-crusted filet mignon.

The owners did not specify the reasons behind the closure.
