Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival Returns: A Culinary Extravaganza with Over 60 Exciting Events!

Chris Lehoux, April 13, 2025

The Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival is making its much-anticipated return this year, featuring an array of culinary experiences spanning four days of gourmet events, tastings, and chef appearances. Kicking off on Thursday and running through Sunday, this festival is one of the highlights of the Monterey Peninsula’s food and beverage scene.

Hosted by the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, the festival invites over 100 renowned chefs and more than 150 wine and spirits producers from across the nation. Venues for the events include The Lodge at Pebble Beach and The Inn at Spanish Bay.

This year, attendees can engage in more than 60 events, which encompass a variety of options such as wine seminars, chef-led educational sessions, multi-course dinners, and walk-around tastings. Noteworthy attractions include the Tasting Pavilion, where guests can sample gourmet offerings from numerous chefs and producers, and thoughtfully curated seminars like “From Vineyard to Glass” and cheese-and-wine pairings.

Initially launched in 2008 as a reimagining of the Masters of Food & Wine festival, the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival was the brainchild of local entrepreneurs David Bernahl and Rob Weakley. Following their business split in 2015, Bernahl maintained leadership of the festival until the last event prior to the pandemic in 2019.

The weather this year is expected to be pleasantly warm, hovering around 65 degrees, with some chance of clouds. Attendees can look forward to social hours featuring champagne, whiskey tastings, and engaging discussions with esteemed chefs and sommeliers.

Ticket prices vary, ranging from $300 to $700 for general admission to individual events and Tasting Pavilion access. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, exclusive packages are available, with prices ranging from $2,000 to $7,500, providing premium access and unique receptions.

The festival continues through Sunday, with a full schedule of events and ticket information accessible at Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival.
