Celebrating Excellence: Wine Spectator’s 2025 Restaurant Award Winners Showcase Over 60 Arizona Establishments

Wine Spectator, a prominent lifestyle magazine and online platform centered on wine, has unveiled its 2025 Restaurant Award winners. This year, over 3,000 establishments from 80 different countries received accolades, with Arizona making a notable impact by boasting more than 60 winners.

The awards are categorized into three tiers: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and Grand Award. To be considered, a restaurant’s wine list must provide complete and accurate details, including vintages and appellations, and also reflect correct spellings of producer names. The overall presentation of the list is taken into account as well.

Several Arizona establishments have achieved repeat recognition. Notable winners include Anhelo in Scottsdale, Vincent Guerithault on Camelback in Phoenix, Lon’s at the Hermosa in Paradise Valley, Prime, A Shula’s Steakhouse in Chandler, Cucina Rústica in Sedona, Julieanna’s Steak and Seafood in Yuma, Shugrue’s Restaurant in Lake Havasu City, and The Grill at Hacienda Del Sol in Tucson.
