New Mexico Wine Month Makes a Comeback: Celebrating Vines and Recovery After the Pandemic

Chris Lehoux, July 28, 2025

After a few years of pause due to the pandemic, New Mexico Wine Month is set to return in August. This annual celebration is aimed at promoting the state’s wine industry and includes various wine-related events throughout the month. Launched in 2017, the initiative faced interruptions starting in 2020.

The kickoff event is scheduled for August 1 at Winrock Park, coinciding with the Winrock Fest – End of Summer Block Party, from 6 PM to 10 PM. In addition, the Oasis Event Center will host Wine Wednesdays on August 6, 13, 20, and 27.
