The expansive 32,000-square-foot store is situated at 871 Route 1 and joins Trader Joe’s as an anchor tenant in the 124,000-square-foot retail space. The retailer specializes in a vast selection of beverages, offering over 8,000 wines, thousands of spirits, and a wide variety of domestic, imported, and craft beers. The North Brunswick location emphasizes local New Jersey producers and includes exclusive brands. Additionally, Total Wine is set to host various in-store experiences such as tastings, classes, and events. North Village Shopping Center is home to other notable retailers, including Michaels, Staples, Ulta Beauty, and Panera Bread, among others. Matthew K. Harding, CEO of the shopping center’s managing company, Levin Management Corp., expressed pride in reaching full occupancy, stating that this development will create a unique shopping experience and draw customers from beyond the local area. The store’s operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Founded in 1991 in Delaware, Total Wine & More now has around 286 locations across 30 states, with plans to expand to 300 by the end of the year.
