Savannah’s Culinary Delights: Highlights from the New Food and Wine Fest

Dozens of food and beverage vendors gathered for the inaugural Hostess City Food and Wine Fest at Eastern Wharf in Savannah. The festival kicked off with a VIP event on November 7, featuring award-winning food, wine, and a private acoustic concert by local artist Brian Bazemore.

The highlight of the festival was the Grand Tasting Event on Saturday, which ran from 3 to 6 p.m. This all-inclusive affair offered unlimited tastings from nearly 50 local vendors. Guests had the opportunity to participate in guided tastings led by Sommelier Caleb Poppell from Daniel Reed Hospitality, who also mingled throughout the venue to inspire attendees. Live music was provided by the band Lyn Avenue.
