2026 Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards: Celebrating Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Winners

Chris Lehoux, April 1, 2026

On April 1, 2026, Wynn Resorts announced the winners of the 2026 Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards after an intensive judging week conducted in early March. The awards will culminate in an official ceremony at Wynn Palace on April 24, during which a total of 36 trophies will be presented to some of China’s leading wineries.

This year’s judging panel consisted of 23 esteemed wine authorities, including 11 Masters of Wine and 2 Master Sommeliers, who rigorously evaluated over 800 wines from nearly 180 Chinese wineries. The wines were judged blindly using a 100-point system, resulting in a significant increase in the number of Gold Medals awarded this year—74 wines achieved Gold Medal status, compared to only 35 in the previous year.

The Gold Medal winners will now compete for coveted awards, including the "Best Wine of China Trophy" and other distinctions, highlighting various categories within the wine industry. Alongside the awards ceremony, Wynn will host a forum and walkaround tastings on April 25, providing opportunities for wine enthusiasts and industry professionals to explore the winners in a more interactive setting.

The Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards has gained prominent recognition in its two years, being recognized as one of the "Top 10 Promotion Organizations" at the recent JD Cup WBO 2025 China Wine Market Annual Awards. Furthermore, Wynn’s influence is being felt internationally, with plans to showcase award-winning wines at Cathay Pacific’s Hong Kong International Airport VIP lounges and through partnerships with notable wine industry players.

The judging week was marked by masterclasses and thematic wine dinners, provided by executive chefs and renowned wine experts, enhancing discussions on the diverse characteristics of both Chinese and international wines. This initiative reflects Wynn’s commitment to promoting China’s wine industry on a global scale.
