Discover Westchester’s Finest: Wine Spectator’s Top 10 Dining Destinations

Ten restaurants in Westchester have been honored by Wine Spectator for their exceptional wine service in 2026. This prestigious recognition is part of the magazine’s annual Restaurant Awards, which noted a total of 4,012 establishments worldwide this year.

The acclaimed Westchester restaurants include:

• Vida in Thornwood
• Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills
• Basso by PXK in Chappaqua
• 3 Westerly Bar & Grill in Ossining
• One Rare Steakhouse in Scarsdale
• The Kittle House in Chappaqua
• The Restaurant at Kanopi, Chazz Palminteri, Shiraz Kitchen & Bar, and Morton’s the Steakhouse in White Plains

Established in 1981, the Restaurant Awards celebrate the highest standards in wine service and are categorized into three levels: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and Grand Award.

According to Marvin R. Shanken, the chairman and CEO of Wine Spectator, restaurants are evolving as diners become more selective about their wine choices. The trends reflect a shift towards quality and variety, with many diners exploring special bottles, new regions, and artisanal wines.

This year’s honorees include establishments from America and 87 countries, with Egypt being represented for the first time. The list will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming issue available on newsstands starting July 21.
