S.O.R.B.E.T. Wine Tasting in San Francisco on November 8

Chris Lehoux, October 26, 2026

S.O.R.B.E.T., short for Sonoma Organic Regenerative Biodynamic Educational Tasting, brings together Sonoma winemakers and growers committed to more ecologically responsible farming and winemaking. The event highlights work that goes beyond organic practices, including carbon sequestration, runoff capture, erosion prevention, ecological improvement, and community support—at a time when greenwashing is increasingly common.

Organized by wine-industry friends Morgan Twain-Peterson of Bedrock Wine Co., Katie Bundschu of Gundlach Bundschu, and Sam Coturri of Winery Sixteen600, the tasting will feature a range of producers and wines.

Participating wineries and vineyards include Abbot’s Passage, Bedrock Vineyard, Bedrock Wine Co., Benziger Family Winery, Brown Estate, BUCKLIN, Canihan Family Winery, Dane Cellars, Donum Estate, Enterprise Vineyards, Fest Wine Co., Fresh Wine Co., Gloria Ferrer, Gundlach Bundschu, Hamel Family Wine, Hanzell, Hill of Tara Winery, Kamen Estate Wines, Kivelstadt Cellars, KORBIN KAMERON, Jambe de Bois, Las Vivas, Lasseter Family Winery, Laurel Glen Vineyard, Marioni Wine, Montecillo Vineyard, Once & Future Wine, Pangloss Cellars, Ram’s Gate Winery, Rossi Ranch, Stone Edge Farm Estate Vineyards & Winery, Tidings, and Winery Sixteen 600.

The tasting takes place Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Fort Mason Center, Gallery 308, 2 Marina Boulevard, San Francisco. Tickets cost $78.30 and should be purchased in advance.

Arrive rested, have a substantial lunch beforehand, and consider spitting as you taste so you can sample more wines while keeping a clear head.
