French Digs from Lazy Bear

The acclaimed team behind Lazy Bear is branching out with a new French restaurant named JouJou. Scheduled to open in spring 2025, JouJou will feature a menu highlighting seafood towers and shellfish, including oysters with frites, all paired with exceptional wines curated by Lazy Bear’s wine director Jacob Brown.

A New Location for COTE Korean Steakhouse

Simon Kim’s Gracious Hospitality Management is expanding its footprint with a new location of COTE Korean Steakhouse in the Venetian Resort, Las Vegas, set to open in early 2025. This follows the recent opening of its first international location in Singapore and adds to the group’s rich portfolio.

The Sky’s the Limit for USHG

Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group is taking over The View, New York City’s only revolving restaurant, with plans to unveil a new menu led by chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley this winter. USHG also has two more openings slated for Boston, featuring existing concepts but still under wraps.

Napa Valley’s Press Expands with Under-Study

Under-Study, a more casual dining experience from the creators of Press in St. Helena, will be opening in March 2025. It promises a gourmet atmosphere featuring counter-service dining, alongside a butcher and fishmonger, and a curated selection of California wines.

New Life for the Former Momofuku Ko Space

The East Village space once occupied by Momofuku Ko is set to be revitalized by Caribbean-born chef Paul Carmichael’s new concept, Kabawa. This opening marks the first for the Momofuku Group since the pandemic, promising an exciting new venture in fine dining.
