As the wine industry grapples with various challenges, a silver lining emerges in the steadily growing admiration for white wines. Acknowledging this trend, the Anderson Valley Winegrowers are hosting a festival dedicated to white wines, a revival of their longstanding Alsace Varieties Festival.

Scheduled for February 14-15 at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville, CA, this event will showcase an extensive array of white wines, featuring both local producers from Anderson Valley and renowned wineries from Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and France. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample hundreds of varietals during the Grand Tasting event on Saturday, February 14.

A diverse lineup of participating wineries includes notable names such as Aquiesce Winery, Copain Wines, Goldeneye Winery, and many more, each offering a unique selection of white wines for tasting.

The Grand Tasting promises to be a delightful experience with gourmet local bites, live music, and an indoor lounge area, along with a commemorative glass for guests to take home. Following the main event, many local wineries will hold open houses on Sunday, offering more tasting opportunities and some with live entertainment.
