Port Wine Fest Makes Its Debut in London After Successful Runs in the U.S.

The Port Wine Fest is set to make its debut in London on June 18, 2026, hosted by the Associação das Empresas de Vinho do Porto (AEVP – Port Wine Shippers Association). This festival, promoting Portuguese wines, follows three successful editions in the United States over 2024 and 2025, which engaged hundreds of trade professionals and consumers across various cities, including Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York.

The event will take place at Canopy Market in King’s Cross, featuring dedicated sessions for trade from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and for consumers from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Attendees can expect an immersive experience that fuses wine, gastronomy, and Portuguese culture.

The United Kingdom is a particularly strategic market for Portuguese wines due to its historical ties to Port Wine and its influence on global consumption trends. Bringing the festival to London aims to enhance brand awareness and foster commercial relationships within this key market.

Isabel Marrana, Executive Director of AEVP, expressed that the successful response in the U.S. highlighted the appeal of Portuguese wines in sophisticated markets. She views the London edition as a natural and strategic extension, crucial for the sector’s future.
